What is remanufacturing?

A properly “rebuilt” diesel engine part is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part. In fact, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) required that such parts be labeled as “rebuilt” so that they are not mistakenly accepted as new. 

Reman "rebuilt" parts are available for equipment such as trucks, marine vessels, buses, farming, and construction equipment. In these markets, reman parts are often the quickest and cost-effective solution to getting equipment back in operation. This is especially true for older engine parts. that are hard to find.
